Varying in size up to nine participants the discussions have been varied and sometimes controversial. Subjects have ranged from global warming, GM foods, loss of National identity through to George W Bush and his efforts in Iraq. The subject of stem cell research and its efforts were also discussed.

The model we use is for one person to choose a subject, research it, and present the information to the group before opening up the discussion. We encourage the discussion leader to develop a line of argument that will provide a fresh slant and doesn't necessarily agree with popular newpaper or tv reports. To paraphrase Lord Reith, to educate, inform and hopefully entertain is our target.
