Normally the group meets at an archaeological site and is led on a tour of the site by an expert who is knowledgeable about the original dig or period. Occasionally we have a lecture and members are asked to contribute ideas for site visits.

The group has been visiting sites around the island in chronological order and are currently investigating the Byzantine period and will move on to the Lusignan and Venetian eras next year.

This theme is interrupted when dig teams, or visiting academics, are on the Island so that we can take advantage of seeing and hearing about work in progress from any period.
